Join Orchestra of the Swan for a compelling musical journey about human connection. The programme takes you from the sublime dialogue of Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante to Michael Nyman’s exquisite Trysting Fields which skilfully reimagines material from the former’s second movement. The neglected work of 18th century composer Joseph Bologne’s receives a rare performance and American Minimalist Philip Glass’s Company seems to strive for meaningful contact in an increasingly polarised world. Vaughan Williams’ gorgeously pastoral Oboe Concerto abounds with lyrical conversation and folk-infused themes. Director/violin – David Le Page. Oboe – Victoria Brawn.
