Belfast (12A) at Number 8, Pershore

Written and directed by Kenneth Branagh, Belfast is a poignant story of love, laughter and loss in one boy’s childhood, amid the music and social tumult of the late 1960s.

Buddy (Jude Hill) is a young boy on the cusp of adolescence, whose life is filled with familial love, childhood hijinks, and a blossoming romance. As his beloved hometown becomes caught up in increasing turmoil everything he thought he understood about life is changed but joy, laughter, music and the formative magic of the cinema remain. His family ultimately faces a momentous choice: hope the conflict will pass or leave everything they know behind for a new life. Also starring Judi Dench, Jamie Dornan and Ciaran Hinds.

Directed by Kenneth Branagh.
