C’mon C’mon (15) at Number 8, Pershore
Johnny (Joaquin Phoenix), is an emotionally stunted and softly spoken radio journalist who travels the country interviewing a variety of kids about their thoughts concerning the world and their future. When his sister asks him to look after her son, Johnny and his young nephew (Woody Norman) are thrown together and forge an unexpected bond. C’mon C’mon is a delicate and deeply moving story about the connections between adults and children, the past and the future.
“C’mon C’mon is a great big bear hug wrapped in celluloid.” Independent
“Joaquin Phoenix is brilliantly sympathetic in this sensational chamber piece.” The Telegraph
Directed by Mike Mills.
