Cruella (12A) Film at Number 8
An all-new live-action film about the rebellious early days of one of cinemas most notorious villains, the legendary Cruella de Vil (Emma Stone).
Set in 70s London amidst the punk-rock revolution it follows Estella, a clever young grifter who is determined to make a name for herself with her designs. She befriends a pair of young thieves and together they are able to build a life for themselves on the streets. When Estella’s flair for design catches the eye of fashion legend Baroness von Hellman (Emma Thompson) events are set in motion that will cause Estella to embrace her wicked side and become the raucous, fashionable and revenge-bent Cruella.
Directed by Craig Gillespie.
