Judas & the Black Messiah (15), Film
Set in 1968 this gripping drama tell the story of Fred Hampton (Daniel Kaluuya – in a BAFTA, Golden Globe, and Oscar winning performance), the inspirational Chairman of the Illinois chapter of the Black Panther Party and William O’Neal (Lakeith Stanfield) the petty criminal who was coerced by the FBI to infiltrate the Panthers to spy on him. O’Neal initially revels in his undercover role, but as Hampton’s fiery message draws him in, he is torn between his conscience and the deadly trajectory of his ultimate betrayal.
