My New York Year (15), Film
Set in late nineties New York, this drama follows Joanna (Margaret Qualley) a recently graduated aspiring writer who takes a clerical job working for the old-fashioned literary agent (Sigourney Weaver) of the reclusive J.D. Salinger. Tasked with answering the author’s fan mail Joanna eschews the standard reply and gets creative. In adopting the great writer’s voice she begins to discover her own.
Directed by Philippe Falardeau.
