This meditative drama has wowed critics and won a host of awards including Oscars and BAFTAs for best film, best direction and best actor in a leading role. Following the economic collapse of her company town in rural Nevada, Fern (Frances McDormand) packs her van and sets off to explore life outside of conventional society as a modern-day nomad. The film features real nomads Linda May, Swankie and Bob Wells as Fern’s mentors and comrades in her exploration through the vast landscape of the American West.

Booking will open to Friends of Number 8 from Tue 18 May and to the wider public from Sat 22 May.
A limited selection of seats are available to book online. For individual seats or larger bookings please book via Box Office. Please note when booking tickets for groups, a maximum of 6 individuals or two households can be seated together.
As part of out Covid-19 safety measures our coffee bar and evening bar will not be open at the time of screenings/events but a selection of refreshments are available to pre-order when booking via Box Office.
