Pershore Jazz on a Summer’s Day in Number 8, Pershore
Pershore Jazz Club presents 21 of UK’s best jazz musicians who will play a diverse range of jazz from the 1900s through to more recent times. The 6 sessions of jazz with breaks will allow the audience time to enjoy an enjoyable day of music and singing and also drinks in the bar and sample the delights of local hostelries.
The afternoon sessions (2.00pm – 5.30pm) will comprise of:
Enrico Tomasso’s Classic 7
Thomas (Spats) Langham and Martin Wheatley duo guitar session
Martin Litton’s Red Hot Peppers
Hot Fingers
A two-hour interval to allow the audience and musicians to enjoy the delights of Pershore’s restaurants, pubs and cafes before the evening sessions (7.15pm – 10.30pm) concludes with:
Alex Clarke’s “Ben, Sweets & the Hawk”
“Evolution into Swing” finale with the Keith Nichols’ Memorial Orchestra led by Michael McQuaid. This will be a 16 musicians and singers
