Set in France in 1963 this drama follows Anne (Anamaria Vartolomei) a promising young student whose aspirations for a better future are threatened when she falls pregnant. With her exams approaching, Anne resolves to act, even if she has to confront shame and pain, even if she must risk prison to do so. Winner of the Golden Lion at Venice Film Festival.
